TGF | Fashion Advice|Office Wear Tips Part 2

1, Fitting

Fitting is important, it makes you look smart just like you did on your first day of school & it is more comfortable.

The easiest way I achieve a fitted or tailored look is with

– Cigarette Trousers

– Blouse

A collared or white blouse is a classic statement piece for any work wardrobe

– Blazer

There are potentially 6 types of blazers

–  Heels

A patent black heel may seem like an office essential BUT it is not the only material you can wear. Other materials such as satin and suede are really popular right now and can add that

2, Maintenance – Nails

Some people (including the gents) have their nails done every 2 weeks like clockwork – while others could not imagine doing such a thing. So long as they look clean and tidy it will complement your look. It is especially important if you are in are client facing role – you do not want to shake hands with someone with dirty so don’t put anyone else in that position.

3, Jewellery

Like with makeup Classy, simple items work well rather than anything that leans towards the costume jewellery section of a store. I have two piercings in my ears so I always go for something simple because I have two. I have a unique choker chain necklace that was a gift from my parents that I always wear and occasionally I will add rings to an all black outfit. The rings I have are very dainty from stores like Monica Vinader, Astley Clarke or Tiffany and Co.

It is scientifically proven that how you dress affects your mind this is why formal clothing gives an individual feeling of confidence this is why people where formal clothing to interviews and exams.

Do you have any office wear tips that I have not mentioned? Let me know in the comment section.
